Don't they just look gorgeous? These cupcakes are made of 2 different things: the cupcake is made as a bathbomb, like the fizzing balls. The "whipped cream" is actually a whipped soap. This kind of soap is so light that it floats in water. For a relaxing bath you just gently drop one of these cupcakes in the water: the cupcake fizzes away, leaving a delicious scent of English Rose, the whipped cream top floats, so you don't loose it in your bath.
Non sono "da mangiare" questi piccoli cupcakes? No, non veramente! Però garantiscono un bel bagno rilassante! La base del cupcake è fatto come le bombe frizzanti da bagno, la "panna montata" è un sapone WP, cosi' leggero da rimanere a galla nell'acqua. Allora, riempi la vasca, lascia cadere delicatamente uno di questi cupcake en rilassati: la base frizzante rilascia un buon odore di Rosa Inglese; la saponetta rimane a galla, cosi' chè non la devi mai cercare.
Zijn ze niet "om op te eten", deze cupcakes? Nee, niet echt natuurlijk! Maar ze garanderen je wel een heerlijk ontspannend bad! De basis (het "koekje") is gemaakt van bruisbal, het toefje slagroom is een WP-zeep, zo licht dat ze blijft drijven in water. Dus vul je bad maar al, laat er voorzichtig een cupcakeje in vallen en geniet: het bruisend cakeje laat een heerlijke geur van Engelse Roos los, en het toefje slagroom blijft drijven in bad, zodat je er niet moet achter zoeken.
This is my first Whipped Process soap. For this process the lye needs to be cold and also the oils are cold (for CP both need to be around 50°C). It uses a major amount of solid oils (type coconut or palm oil) that is whipped as if it were whipped cream. I keep on whipping it during the whole process of adding liquid oils and lye. This gives it a very airy and light structure and makes it ideal for use in the bathtub: it doesn't sink. As in the recipe it said that the colour in this soap tends to be very light, I've added a bigger amount of colour than usual. And indeed the colour stayed very light licac.....but when I removed it from the mould it had turned this bright fuchsia! It has an oriental scent called Marrakesh.
Questo è il mio primo sapone con il processo "montato". Per questo tipo di sapone tutti gli ingredienti devono essere freddi (invece di +/- 50°C) e si usa una maggiore quantità di oli solidi (tipo olio di noce di cocco o di palma). Gli oli solidi vengono "montati" come se fosse panna, e si continua a montare aggiungendo gli oli liquidi ed altri ingredienti. Questo risulta in un sapone molto leggero, ideale da usare nella vasca da bagno, perchè galleggia. Siccome la ricetta diceva che i colori in questo tipo di sapone risultano molto chiari, ho aggiunto più colore che al solito. Infatti il colore nel sapone "montato" risultava un lilà chiarissimo, ma quando l'ho tolto dalla forma, sotte era tornato un bel rosa fuchsia! Questo sapone ha un profumo orientale, Marrakesh.
